There are a few ways to backup your iPhone Data.
You can back up your iPhone using iCloud or your computer.
How to backup your data using iCloud?
Go to Settings -> click on your name -> choose iCloud -> click on iCloud Backup.
Switch on ‘iCloud Backup’. iCloud will automatically back up your iPhone daily. It has to be connected to power, locked, and on Wi-Fi.
To perform a manual backup, tap ‘Back Up Now’
To view your iCloud backups
Go to Settings > click on your name > iCloud > Manage Storage > Backups.
To delete a backup, choose a backup from the list, then tap Delete Backup.
Backup iPhone using your Mac
Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable.
In the Finder sidebar on your Mac, select your iPhone.
To use the Finder to backup your iPhone, make sure that your macOS is 10.15 or laterAt the top of the ‘Finder’ window, click ‘General’.
Select “Backup all of your data on your iPhone to this Mac.”
If you would like to encrypt your backup data and protect it with a password, select ‘Encrypt local backup’.
Click ‘Backup Now’.
You can also connect your iPhone to your computer wirelessly. You just need to set Wi-Fi syncing.
Backup iPhone using your Windows PC
Connect iPhone to your computer using a USB lead.
Go to the iTunes app on your PC, click the iPhone button at the top left of the iTunes window.
Click on ‘Summary’.
Click ‘Backup Now’.
You can also encrypt your backups, when selecting “Encrypt local backup,” type in a password and click on ‘Set Password’.
If you would like to see the backups that are stored on your computer, click on ‘Edit’, then ‘Preferences’ and click ‘Devices’.
Encrypted backups have a lock icon in the list of backups.
